REGION 12 PINE RIDGE The 7
miles of Swiss Ranch Road from the Road's junction at Railroad Flat Rd to the
gate of Enchanted Hills Ranch looks like it would be a good birding area with
lots of open meadows. The part of Railroad Flat from Swiss Ranch Road to Jesus
Maria Road and the first two miles of Jesus Maria Road are also possibilities
with open meadows and some ponds. (The rest of Jesus Maria is out of our
circle.) There are a lot of side roads and trails and walking would probably be
a good idea depending on weather and road conditions.
