REGION 13 ARMSTRONG/SHEEP RANCH This region starts at the corner on Armstrong and Sheep Ranch Road. Do all of the town of Sheep Ranch going to the end of Main Street and taking all side roads. Then continue out Armstrong Rd to its end. This area lends it self to walking so park and walk for a while and then move on. Scott Road to Skull Ranch is private so won't get you far unless you can get previous permission to bird there. Armstrong Road ends 5.8 miles from the start and then you will have to double back. Armstrong Road is usually excellent and often has large numbers of Lewis' Woodpeckers.
